If you’re a fan of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, don’t miss a new exhibit at the Vittoriano Complex in Rome is dedicated to the history of the Star Wars movies, which have created millions of dedicated fans over the past three decades. The exhibit, titled Star Wars: Play, showcases more than 1,000 rare and classic objects including toys, action figures, vintage prints, models, and costumes. It is on display now until January 29, 2017.
Items in the exhibit represent a range of characters and scenery in the Star Wars universe from 1977 to today, including villains such as Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Stormtroopers; heroes such as Yoda and Queen Amidala; mythical animals; vehicles; and scenes from planets such as Darth Vader’s desert home of Tattooine. The exhibit is at Complesso del Vittoriano ala Brasini on Via di San Pietro in Carcere
Rome. Tickets are 10€.
