Ski resorts in Italy offer some of the best value in the world for an ski vacation, according to a newly released report by the UK Post Office’s Travel-Money section. Three Italian resorts — Livigno, Sestriere and Cervinia — made the top 10 list for best value. Prices at certain Italian ski resorts have fallen 10 percent since last year.
The authors of the report compared 27 ski resorts in Europe and North America based on the cost of a six-day ski pass as well as the cost of ski school, ski and boot hire and the cost of one day’s meals and drinks. Livigno was the best value, coming in at 450 euros for one week of skiing and slope-related expenses.
