An Italy vacation can fit almost any budget. But for those who have money to spend, Sardinia might just be your destination…
A study by Luxury-hotels.com reveals that some of the world’s most expensive hotel rooms can be found on this Italian island – especially during the summer when Sardinia becomes a playful paradise for the rich and famous. The key is that the website’s study was done during June through August when rates at Sardinia hotels are certainly at their highest.
The most expensive hotel was Le Dune, Forte Village Resort with an average rate of $2,539 per night. Also on the list of top 10 most expensive hotels are Hotel Pitrizza, Villa del Parco, Hotel Cala di Volpe and Hotel Romazzino. One of our favorite hotels – a 5-star luxury resort – L’Ea Bianca didn’t make the list of most expensive, so check it out!
